Criticism and feedback threads are all right, as long as it's a legitimate call for feedback.

Do not, under any circumstances, post links or ask for links to full ROM downloads. The game also doesn't seem to want to load at all with the Melon core.Welcome to /r/PokemonROMhacks, where you can find, create, and discuss hacks of Pokémon games. Dunno if there's anything else that could be done about it if it's an emulator glitch, since the desmume devs seem extremely uninterested in supporting the DS Pokemon games. So you can fix it by just running the game at its native resolution, but unfortunately that makes the whole game look pretty terrible on an HD monitor. I've toggled about every other graphical setting I could find in both Desmume and Retroarch's configs, and tried OpenGL, Direct3D, and Vulkan, and nothing besides the resolution made any difference. It only happens if the game's internal resolution is set to higher than native, which probably has something to do with why it displays 2 glitched copies of the screen.

It occurs whenever the game does a zoom transition such as when entering a building.

The 2015 core also has fewer options (no AA, etc) and looks a bit worse overall, so still not perfect.īumping to note I'm getting the same problem in Black 2, using the Desmume core. There is still a less severe issue with zoom transitions though, where the new area will appear zoomed-in and skewed for a split second when first entering. EDIT2: I don't know how this slipped by, maybe I didn't properly restart the core when I was testing it, but enabling OpenGL Rasterizer in the core options seems to completely fix the issue, at least for me.ĮDIT: Tried running the Desmume 2015 core and it does fix the screen glitch issue even at higher resolutions.
